Tom Whalen is President & CEO of the Petroleum Services Association (PSAC) and brings over 35 years of domestic and international experience to his position. 

PSAC is the national trade association representing the service, supply and manufacturing sectors with the upstream petroleum industry. PSAC is Working and Energy and as the voice for this sector, advocates for members to enable the continued innovation, technological advancement and in-the-field experience they supply to Canada's energy explorers and producers, helping to increase efficiency, improve safety and protect the environment

 

Robert Hodges, Senior Advisor, Extraction & Resources Industries, Export Development Canada

As Sector Advisor, Oil & Gas, Rob is responsible for the development and execution of Export Development Canada's (EDC) corporate strategy for supporting Canadian companies operating with the oil and gas industry. Duties include development and executing strategy; supporting EDC's business development teams in encouraging Canadian companies operating in the sector with regards to export opportunities; and selecting, developing, and executing events that facilitate introductions for relevant Canadian Companies to the procurement needs of international buyers.

EDC provides Canadian exporters with trade financing, export credit insurance and bonding services, as well as foreign market expertise.
